NAME
bluegrass — hosting at human scale
SYNOPSIS
bluegrass [-small] [-sharp] [-reliable]
DESCRIPTION
Systems built from small tools that each do one thing well. Plain text. Manual tools. vi. Nothing clever where something simple will do, and nothing hidden that can’t be read.
PRINCIPLES
- FreeBSD and OpenBSD, chosen for coherence and care
- Quality over quantity; fewer clients, done right
- Understood, not abstracted
- Built to last, and to be repaired
HISTORY
Began in Kentucky in 1999. Still here.
